This fantastic piece took over a year of development painstakingly mimicking all of the subtle details of the original while still staying budget conscious. RMS49F
Introducing the RMS49F, our solid-state version of the classic M49. The RMS49F uses a 2N3819 FET instead of a vacuum tube but still produces the warmth and low end the M49 is known for. Just like the RMS49, the RMS49F is outstanding on vocals where a big, round sound is required. Perfect for Jazz trios, soloists, and singer-songwriters. We were able to get our costs down making this an extremely affordable choice for matched pairs for piano, room mics and overheads without all of the headaches of tube maintenance.
